21st German Perl Workshop 2019 in Munich

The German Perl Workshop is an Open Source conference for everyone, organized by community of the Perl Programming Language yearly in Germany. The 2019 edition will be from Wednesday, March 6th, 09:00 to Friday, March 8th, 16:00 in Munich.

node.js in perl - event driven programming including async/await via perl/POE by Markus Schräder (CEO CryptoMagic GmbH) aimed at Intermediate and is held in Deutsch. This talk starts on 2019-03-06 at 16:30 for 20 minutes. It takes place at the R1.001.

NodeJS spreads the event driven programming as a core feature of the language. Via async/await, and new via promises(V8), it allows you to program synchronically in a asynchron world.

We can do the same in perl via POE - since decades.
